With a clear blue sky and a lovely warming sun, today was the most perfect autumn day in Belgium. Time for a forest walk!
We picked the Bulskampveld provincial domain in West-Flanders, hopped in the car and – on the hottest 1 November ever – drove towards Bruges. We’d never been to this place before, but what a great find!
We took some amazing pictures of the forest, basking in autumn colours, and of the park, lake and castle. They even had ice cream from local farmers – and yes, we treated ourselves…
Needless to say, we will be back soon!

Thanks, Becky! It is just outside Bruges, and takes about 20 minutes by car. There are trains and buses that will get you there, too!
